Panchang Google gadget
This gadget displays all five parts of the Panchanga (Hindu Calendar) The current time and time zone information is picked from target machine. This was a very useful gadget.
But I think it's computing for Indian time. It would be really helpful if it can compute for the local time of the viewer.
Don't know if it's possible but I would assume there should be some way.
The timezone information will be picked from the local machine.
This is a simple looking yet useful gadget. I love it.
I was in the process of putting something together for downloading to Palm OS handheld but ran into some calculation errors and discrepancies.
Though mostly seem IST based - Your calculation seem to be correct.
Could you please let me know the source of your calculation.
