Experiment with igoogle gadgets

Recently I was trying to develop a template for photo of the day style gadgets. Even though not completely successful ended up developing some interesting gadgets.

This gadget brings award winning Photo of the day from National Geographic website along with the brief description and links to the original story and more photographs . This gadget also supports igoogle canvas view.

Fractal of the day

Fractal is a geometric pattern which has the property of self-similarity.The term was coined by BenoƮt Mandelbrot in 1975 and was derived from the Latin fractus meaning "broken" or "fractured." A mathematical fractal is based on an equation that undergoes iteration, a form of feedback based on recursion. This mathematical branch now grown into an art-form. This gadget brings the images of the fractals. This gadget also supports canvas view.
